Welcome to the tipi, Öjerviks gård, and to Värmland!

We hope you’ll enjoy your stay. Here is some information prior to your arrival.

Please keep in mind, the Tipi is not an average hotel room. For starters, how many hotel rooms have outdoor fire pits, canoes and cows roaming about? : ) It's completely private and you're on your own in many respects: you have to make your own bed, saw/chop your own fire wood and bring your own food and drink. You will find clean sheets, towels, and a 10 liter water carrier in the tipi upon your arrival.

Regarding the fireplace, if you know how to make a fire with only (1) matches, (2) a saw, and (3) semi-dry wood, you're all set, we have that at (or close to) the Tipi. There is also some starter liquid if you need help along the way! ;)

The fireplace comes with a built in grill function if you want to make food over the fire.

Regarding food and drink, there is only a 10 liter water carrier in the tipi. We don’t provide food because we don’t want to attract rodents and bugs to the tipi between visits.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THERE IS NO FRIDGE OR COAL BY THE TIPI.

We set-up the Tipi 3 years ago and have already shared the experience with hundreds of people from the Airbnb community. We're glad to share something we also cherish with so many others! And we really appreciate your help in making that possible. You'll see when you get there. There's really nothing like it.
